SOS Disclaimer

Last updated: 2026-10-02

1. In short

The Solvo app has an SOS button for situations where you feel in danger during an order. It is a tool to help you reach help faster. Solvo is not an emergency service and does not send police, an ambulance or any other help to you.

If your life, health or safety is at risk, call emergency number 112 straight away. Do not wait for Solvo.

2. Who provides this function

Solvo is operated by PT Choza Balibu Family, NIB 2506240060092, Jalan Sugriwa No 60, Banjar Padangtegal Kelod, Ubud, Kabupaten Gianyar, Bali, Indonesia. Contact: support@solvo.id. This disclaimer is part of the Solvo Terms of Service and applies to clients and masters.

3. What happens when you press SOS

SOS is available while a master is on the way or the job is in progress. When you press the SOS button in the app:

  1. The app opens your phone's call screen with emergency number 112. You place the call yourself and speak to the emergency operator yourself.
  2. The order and the escrow are frozen. The money for that order is not released to the master and not returned to the client while the order is frozen.
  3. Solvo's operations team is notified.
  4. Solvo tries to notify the emergency contacts you have added in the app, but cannot guarantee that the notification is delivered.

4. What Solvo does not do

  1. Solvo does not dispatch police, medical, fire or rescue services. Only the emergency services can do that.
  2. Solvo's operations team is not an emergency operator. A notification to Solvo does not mean that someone is coming to help you.
  3. Solvo does not take part in your call to 112 and does not pass information to the emergency services for you. Tell the operator where you are and what is happening.
  4. Solvo does not promise that your emergency contacts will receive the notification, see it, answer it or act on it.

5. What the function depends on

The SOS button works through your phone and networks that Solvo does not control. It may not work, or may work with a delay, if:

  • your phone has no signal, no internet connection, no battery or no permission for calls;
  • the 112 service is unavailable or busy in your area;
  • the emergency contacts in your account are missing, outdated or unreachable.

For that reason, do not rely on the SOS button alone. If it does not work, call 112 or the local emergency number directly, and get to a safe place.

6. What you should do

  1. In danger, act first. Move away from the danger and call 112.
  2. Add emergency contacts in the app before you need them, and keep them up to date. Choose people who agree to be contacted and who can react.
  3. Tell the operator your exact location. Do not assume that anyone can see it.
  4. Use SOS only for real danger, such as a threat, violence, an accident or a medical emergency. A problem with the quality of work or with payment is a matter for a dispute, not for SOS.

7. After SOS

  1. The order and the escrow stay frozen while Solvo support reviews the case.
  2. Support may contact both parties and may ask for an explanation and evidence.
  3. Solvo support then decides what happens to the held money for the order. No time frame is promised for this review.
  4. If the law requires it, Solvo gives information about the incident to the competent authorities.

8. Misuse

Pressing SOS without a real emergency blocks an order, freezes another person's money and makes the emergency line unavailable to people who really need it. False or repeated SOS alerts are a breach of the Community Rules and can lead to suspension or closing of the account.

9. Responsibility

  1. Solvo provides the SOS button as it is described here: it opens the call screen for 112, freezes the order and the escrow, notifies Solvo's operations team, and tries to notify your emergency contacts.
  2. Solvo is not responsible for the actions, delay or lack of action of the emergency services, of telephone and internet operators, or of your emergency contacts.
  3. Solvo is a marketplace. It is not the provider of the home service and does not supervise what happens at the address.
  4. Nothing in this disclaimer removes or limits responsibility that the law does not allow to be removed or limited, or your rights under Indonesian law.

10. Your data

To send notifications, Solvo uses the emergency contacts you added and the details of the order. See the Privacy Policy. If you add another person as an emergency contact, make sure that person agrees.

11. Law and language

This disclaimer is governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. It is available in Indonesian and English. If the two differ, the Indonesian version prevails.

12. Contact
